A power plant developer wanted to hire an independent sector advisor to perform due diligence on a new hydropower project in Sierra Leone in order to evaluate the electricity sector and the impact that the sector's characteristics might have on the economic and commercial performance of the project.

DHInfrastructure reviewed existing electricity market studies for Sierra Leone and the wider region, as well as the developer's market model. We reviewed project agreements, taking into account electricity sector regulation in Sierra Leone and the regional electricity market.
